Signing of a cooperation and partnership agreement between Hassiba Ben Bouali University and the Directorate of Tourism and Crafts Wilaya of Chlef,
On the sidelines of the visit of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the Wilaya of Chlef on May 27, 2025, Hassiba Ben Bouali University signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Directorate of Tourism and Handicrafts, which is considered a renewal of the agreement signed on November 10, 2021. This renewal follows the cooperation and mutual coordination between the two organizations. During the previous period, cooperation took place in the implementation of several activities, the most important of which are:
- The Directorate’s contribution to supporting a significant number of students in their research activities, particularly through the provision of data and indicators related to the sector, whether in terms of:

End-of-study dissertations or research on tourism-related economic indicators. Organizing a tour for more than 50 civil engineering students to inspect a construction project as part of their final project preparation.

The agreement was also strengthened by a clause that included:
- The Tourism and Crafts Department undertakes to provide the university with all data relating to thematic or official tourist itineraries in this regard. It is responsible for contributing to the organization and supervision of tourist trips organized by the university for the benefit of scientific missions participating in its events. This responsibility includes:
- Providing a tour guide.
- Providing a transportation service.
