Al-Ateek mosque

           It was founded in 1890 AD, located in the capital of the state of Chlef, which the city’s residents call “the Great Mosque or the Mosque of the Country”. This mosque is located on the western side of the city center
And it was built in the colonial period, a well-built building in that period, despite two violent earthquakes, the first of which was when the state of Chlef was called “Orionville” and the second after independence, “the idols”, but it was not destroyed and thus it is considered one of the rare heritage of Chlef.
