Opening ceremony of the 2025 summer season

In the year two thousand and twenty-five, on Saturday June twenty-first (21/06/2025) at ten o’clock (10:00) in the morning, the Wali of the Wilaya of Chlef, accompanied by the security and civil authorities, supervised the opening ceremony of the summer season 2025, at the central beach of Beni Hawa, in the commune of Beni Hawa, under the slogan:

“Our summer…gathering and safety”

With the participation of various sectors and numerous associations of different specializations, this celebration was the scene of intensive preparations, since several meetings and preparatory outings took place, through which the Directorate contributed effectively, by developing a plan for organizing the celebration events, which was approved by the wilaya authorities.

 

As for the celebration, it included the following activities:

Celebration Venue:

Central Beach – Bani Hawa
After welcoming Mr. Wali and the accompanying delegation, Mr. Wali delivered a speech on the importance of the summer season and its role in revitalizing tourism in the province. He indicated that the wilaya authorities attach great importance to this event, which is considered the province’s tourist destination, particularly on the coastal strip, where tourism is considered the most important development factor.
After this speech, the celebration activities began, which included three Spaces:

First space:

EXHIBITION OF THE DIFFERENT SECTORS CONCERNED:
Presentation of the intervention tools used and awareness-raising actions during the summer season by (National Security + National Gendarmerie + Civil Protection).
  • An exhibition presenting the different activities of forest rangers and their interventions to protect the forest environment from fires.

 

  • The pavillon of the tourist sector, which comprenaited a number of tourist operators (hoteliers, travel agencies and tourism agencies, tourist associations), presented a report on season 2025 indicators, among many other tourist offers offered by the operators. Stimulating and providing tourist services and vacationer profits.
Exhibition pavilion for the sectors involved during the summer season and the different areas of intervention (health + commerce + environment)
  • Special exhibition pavilion for means of communication (Mobilis + Algeria Telecom). Exhibition of traditional products.
  • Highlighting the achievements of youth centers and associations, and various sports and recreational activities.
  • Presentation of the wilaya’s cultural and archaeological heritage, fine arts, and summer museums.

  • National Sanitation Office pavilion presenting the Office’s work during the season to eliminate blackheads.

Second space

The road adjacent to the beach:
  • Assessment of security service teams (National Gendarmerie + National Security) (human resources + vehicles + motorcycles).

  • Assessment of forest conservation (human resources + vehicles).

  • Civil Protection assessment (human resources + vehicles).

  • Review of sports teams for various sports.

  • Folklore groups + pedestrian plaza (Cultural Center workshops).

  • Technical waste disposal center (review of the means used by the establishment for the cleaning process).

 

  • Sonelgaz and Naftal balance sheet (material resources + vehicles).
  • Motorsports Review (Motorcycles).

  • In recognition of the community’s efforts in beach cleanups along the coast, particularly on the beaches of the municipalities of Ténès and La Marina, the Governor presented certificates of thanks and gratitude to a selection of the associations participating in the operation.

Third space:

At beach level:

  • Offering services to certain associations, particularly beach sports associations (volleyball, diving, sailing, etc.).
  • Organizing a beach exercise on how to rescue and rescue a drowning person, plus demonstrations at sea.
Finally, Mr. Wali will give the official signal for the start of the 2025 summer season.

The event received extensive media coverage, notably from Algerian public television, regional radio and various correspondents from print and audiovisual newspapers.

The remarkable success of the celebration was achieved thanks to the excellent organization and supervision, which was the result of the combined efforts of various security sectors and civil society.
