Process:
Some of the participants gathered in front of the directorate headquarters, with the distinguished presence of the Director of Training at the Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industry as guest of honor. Transportation was provided with extensive interaction from the Transport Directorate, which was responsible for transporting the participants to the beaches of the city of Ténès, starting from the central beach, which hosted the official launch of the operation, with all the aforementioned participants present, in an enthusiastic atmosphere and a great spirit of volunteerism.
The operation began after the starting signal, and cleaning tools and equipment (bags, wetsuits, etc.) were distributed to the participants, with the aim of extending the operation across the entire vast beach area. During this campaign, significant amounts of trash were removed, plastics were collected, sand was purified, and areas adjacent to the beach were cleaned. After completing the process, we headed to Marina Beach to carry out the same cleanup, which lasted over four hours.
This campaign received extensive media coverage on television, online channels, print newspapers, and regional radio, where participants recorded statements calling on and educating citizens to actively participate in this type of event.
The beach cleanup in the municipality of Ténès marked the beginning of a series of cleanup campaigns that will cover the entire coast of the state with the aim of providing a clean and safe space to welcome vacationers in suitable conditions, as well as to properly prepare for the 2025 summer season.
