In the year two thousand and twenty-four, on June twenty-fifth (06/25/2024), the Directorate of Tourism and Handicrafts established a rich program to celebrate the National Tourism Day, marked under the slogan:

“USEFUL MEDIA… FOR PIONEERING TOURISM”

The celebration of the National Tourism Day, which falls on June 25, was marked by various activities, including:

01. Presentation of a startup project entitled “Marketing of the tourist accommodation service”

Within the framework of the partnership and cooperation between the Directorate of Tourism and Handicrafts and Hassiba Ben Bouali University of Chlef, and at the invitation of the latter, the Directorate contributed to enriching the discussion of a final year dissertation and a project for emerging institutions on June 24 entitled “Marketing of the tourist accommodation service” by a student at the Faculty of Economics and Business and Sciences management.

As part of the response and support of emerging institutions and project leaders, the end-of-studies project prepared by students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences was presented at the headquarters of the Tourism Directorate with a view to setting up a system. emerging institution entitled “Tourist Accommodation Marketing Project” DAYFNI / DZ, the digital platform for this purpose was presented and gave explanations on this platform through the processes of promoting the tourist product and the tourist service, particularly in the field of booking and marketing of the tourist accommodation service. The presentation witnessed many interventions and discussions by the executives of the Directorate. It aims to encourage and strengthen such initiatives and to materialize them on the ground, because this initiative can strengthen the accommodation capacities of the wilaya.

02. Exhibition of the Chamber of Crafts

A craft exhibition was organized at the House of Crafts in the Wilaya of Chlef by the Directorate in coordination with the Chamber of Crafts and with the participation of each of the associations: Belqis Association for Tourism and Entertainment, the Amal Association and the Association for Tourism and Conservation of Antiquities, where the various traditional products that abound in the Wilaya were exhibited, in addition to organizing various activities specific to certain trades.

03. Organizing a symposium on the scholar Sheikh Al-Jilali Al-Farsi:

On the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Sheikh Al-Jilali Al-Farsi, a founding member of the Association of Muslim Scholars, the Directorate of Tourism of the Wilaya of Chlef, in coordination with the University of Continuing Education of Chlef, organized an intellectual symposium on Sheikh Al-Jilali Al-FarsiJilali Al-Farsi and Mujahid Karimi Abdel Rahman, known as Si Murad, at the Wilaya Library of Chlef in the city center. Where was this symposium on the career of Sheikh Al-Jilali Al-Farsi held? and a conference on Mujahid Karimi Abd al-Rahman, called Si Murad.

The most important historical tourist routes prepared by the Directorate of Tourism were also discussed, which include historical monuments and prominent figures. On the sidelines of the symposium, an exhibition of historical photos and evidence of the virtues and characteristics of men was organized. photos of symbols of resistance in the wilaya of Chlef. This initiative is part of the establishment of memory tourism.

04. Participation in the celebration of the National Day organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts and the Ministry of Communication:

Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Marker Hotel – Bab Ezzouar, Algiers, the awards for the best tourist media work (2024 edition) will be presented.

05. The official launch of the digital electronic application of the tourist guide was also given:

06. Delivery of the agreement for granting the beach operating concession for the year 2024:

Mr. “Boyjri Ishaq”: As part of the work aimed at raising the level of tourist services at the beach, the agreement granting the right to operate the beach for the year 2024 was delivered to Mr. “Boyjri Ishaq” and the operator stressed the need to provide tourist services that meet the requirements of the vacationer and give a distinctive image to the wilaya.
