In commemoration of the sixty-second (62nd) anniversary of Independence and Youth Day, on July 5, 2024, under the slogan:

“GLORIOUS CELEBRATIONS AND AN ALLIANCE OF RENEWAL”

the Wali of Chlef, alongside the security and civil authorities of the Wilaya, supervised the celebration activities of this important event by organizing several events and celebrations. The most important of them are :

Organization of a large parade on the morning of Friday, July 5 (05/07/2024) starting at (09:30) with the participation of several sectors: National Security, National Gendarmerie, Civil Protection, Forestry Services, and all other sectors in addition to public and private economic institutions, volunteers from the youth association movement, sports and culture, and the parade is presented by a regiment of Algerian Islamic scouts.

The Directorate of Tourism and Handicrafts participated in the celebration convoy within the special square of the directorate (the movement of tourist associations, including former Islamic scouts), as well as tourism traders (hotel establishments).

These celebrations were well attended by the public. , who were informed for more than two and a half hours about the various economic activities and the cultural and social heritage of the wilaya.

On the sidelines of these celebrations, a craft exhibition was organized on July 4 and 5, 2024, at the Craft Houses of Ben Souna Chlef and Chettia.

The Directorate of Tourism and Crafts also contributed to the development of the third issue (03) of the National Memory Review, which included 15 themes, the most important of which were: the speech of the President of the Republic, the speech of the Wali, historical figures, the introduction to the fourth state, the martyrs of the fourth state, the historical tourist route and the commemoration of the Mujahid, the scholar Sheikh Al-Jilali Al-Farsi, may God have mercy on him.

On the tourism side, in order to boost the 2024 summer season and on the occasion of the celebration of independence, the official opening of the TERAANGA beach in Tigza East, in the commune of Beni Hawa, which is operated under the concession, took place in the presence of the Director of Tourism and Traditional Industry and some tires.

The Chlef Tourism and Crafts Department also supervised the support of the “DZ” Association for the coastal tourist cycling event in Chlef by receiving the sports delegation represented by the Associations “Amjad Oued Souf” and “Habayeb Afroun” in “Tiranga” in Tigza, Commune of Beni Hawa, and presentation of a tourist itinerant departure badge for three (03) days on the coast of the wilaya Chlef on July 06-07 and 08. 2024.

The Directorate of Tourism and Handicrafts also organized a tourist tour for the Mujahideen at the Al-Rahha Tennis Center, in order to entertain and entertain the Mujahideen of the State by visiting tourist sites at the state level, which included visiting the old Kasbah and introducing it to its historical monuments such as Bab Al-Bahr and the mosques of Sidi Maiza and Lalla Aziza, then heading to the Sidi Marwan lighthouse, at the top of Mount Sidi Marwan Tennis.
