The Sidi Marouane lighthouse
Is located northeast of the town of Tennis, 8 km. It was built in 1865 AD during the colonial period. It was called the Roman Lighthouse in 1957 AD. The lighthouse is estimated to be 89m high and 640m from the sea. This lighthouse emits two lights every 10 seconds for up to 31 miles.
